Christopher Collier is the Director of Special Film Programs for Renew Theaters, the managing company for the County Theater in Doylestown and the Best of Philly 2008 Ambler Theater in Ambler, PA. He holds degrees in Music from St. Catherine's College, Oxford University and Dartmouth College. He has toyed with the idea of revising his Master's Dissertation, The Sound of Batman: Musical Characterization in Comic Book Movies, for publication, but instead has ended up blogging.

Formerly one of the pricipal authors for the film review page The Cardinal Review, Chris now writes for his own blog Pigeons - a collection of thoughts that are roughly 75% movie reviews and 25% other material (mostly books, baseball, and Batman related). Chris also does freelance web design and brews his own beer. He currently lives in West Philadelphia.


In the summer of 2005, Chris and his brother Andrew cycled 4,000 miles from Vancouver to Virginia Beach to raise money for the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. More information on their trek, trip journal, and pictures can be found HERE.
